Vallabh Government College Mandi, was established in 1948 to fulfill the demand of the peoples of the area for imparting higher and quality education to the aspirants. College is located on NH-21 (close to bus stand towards Purani-Mandi) at Mandi city the district HQ and 02km from Purani-Mandi.
College offer Undergraduate courses in Arts, Science & Commerce streams and professional courses in Biotechnology, Business Administration & Computer Application while Postgraduate course in Arts, Science & Commerce and English / Hindi / Sanskrit/ Math.
College has equipped and facilitates with high-tech educational infrastructure to meet the requisite standard and goals. Apart of that college emphasis on co-curricular activities includes competitions to shape the competitive edge to the students.
College has extended the resources to IIT / Mandi for transit camp.

Undergraduate:
1. BA, BSc. & Biotechnology and B.Com – 03 years.
2. BBA and BCA - 03 years.
Postgraduate:
1. MA in Economics/Pol. Sc./English/Hindi/Sanskrit – 02 years.
2. M.A./M.Sc.(Math's) and M.Com – 02 years
Eligibility for Undergraduate:
The candidates, who have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized Board, are eligible.
Eligibility for Postgraduate:
Candidates, who possess graduation degree in Science, Commerce or Humanities stream, with at least 50% aggregate marks, are eligible.
