Government B.R. Ambedkar Polytechnic Ambota, was established to fulfill the demand of the peoples of the area for imparting education / training in Polytechnics as well to cater the skilled Supervisors for Engineering Industries.
Polytechnic is located at village Ambota in district Una, 01km away from Hoshiarpur – Chintpurni road (NH-70), 40km from district HQ Una and 03km from Gagret town.
Polytechnic offer Diploma courses in 04 Polytechnic Engineering streams.
Polytechnic has equipped and facilitates the aspirants with high-tech educational infrastructure to meet the requisite standard and goals. Apart of that college emphasis on co-curricular activities includes competitions to shape the competitive edge to the students.
Courses:
Engineering Diploma of 03 years:
1. Diploma in Civil Engineering – 40 seats.
2. Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering – 40 seats.
3. Diploma in Architecture Assistantship – 30 seats.
4. Diploma in Computer Engineering – 60 seats.
Eligibility:
The candidates, who have passed Matric or equivalent examination with 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized Board, are eligible.
