Bishop Cotton School is one of the best school in Shimla. The main aim of the school is overall development of the child.
It was founded 151 Years ago in 1859.
The main features of the school are;
1. The academic session is divided into four quarters.
2. Fees will be accepted by the bank only.
3. School provide all kind of facilities to their students like School Club, House system,Science and Maths Lab, computer room, medical facility, child counselor, play ground, science exhibition, library and many more.
4. The rules of the school are very strict and every one have to follow them.

About
Bishop Cotton School Shimla is a boys' school affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (ISC). The academic year begins 1st March and ends on 1st December. Registrations close on 30th June of the year proceeding the year of entry.
The School designs and implements its own curriculum for classes III to VIII and ensures that the boys and their teachers have as much flexibility as possible to foster mutual learning. While classes IX to XII have to follow the CISCE syllabic, a flexibility of methodology and learning systems is strongly encouraged so that learning by rote is completely negated.
