D.A.V. PUBLIC SCHOOL is situated near salasi in district hamirpur of himachal pradesh.This school is one of the best school of district Hamirpur. D.A.V Hamirpur is one and only one school in Himachal which is doing progress day by day and D.A.V Hamirpur has achived that goals which are very challengeable to other school of Himachal.On 30/01/2009 a famous newspaper of Himachal Pradesh that is "HIMACHAL KESARI" had awarded D.A.V Hamirpur as the best school of Himachal Pradesh for it's quality education and on the same year 2010 D.A.V Hamirpur also got awarded for it's facilities.In present, school have approximately 2400 students.School also have different labs for experiments so that,students can understand every concept whether it is of science or mathematics perfectly.Now in 2011,the principal of school Shri. P.C. VERMA has done a great change in the behalf of the school.Though this year, the construction work is going on,and the principal of school is going to setup kinder garten for the little childrens,a canteen for school,a gym for the students so that the students remains physically strong and many more unthinkable facilities.Currently school have 8 school buses for transportation of students from home to school,a library which approxamitely contains 10,000 books,a cemented playground for the students of the school and many more unexplainable facilities.
Although D.A.V Hamirpur provides best quality education among all schools.
