Shimla Public School is one of the renowned schools in Shimla. It was established in 1979 with the name Montessori public school as a nursery school. It was soon affiliated by Delhi board, ICSE. As its popularity grew, first batch of ICSE board was made to sit in 1990.
The school is located at the road head, in a centrally located place called Khalini. The school has a strength of about 700 students. There are two playgrounds for junior and senior students. The school has a quality staff of about 30 teachers and 20 office members. The school has a very good building with spacious class rooms, well equipped laboratories, library and computer labs. The best feature of the school is the comfortable hostel facility it provides to the students coming from the different parts of the country and world as well.
