Clarke's hotel is one of the oldest hotels in Shimla. It was built in the year 1898 by the Britishers. The exterior and interior design of the hotel still gives it a British touch as not much of alteration has been done with the British work.
Location: It situated on the Mall Road, near Khel Parisad, Shimla.
1. Half km from the main bus stand.
2. 1 km from the railway station.
The hotel is combination of old look and style and new facilities and services. It has well furnished rooms, attached bathrooms with hot and cold water running twenty four hours. Each room is also attached to mini bars and provide television and phone facility too. Many of the rooms also provides a scenic view of the mountains and trees. Talles building of Shimla, that is the High Court, is just at a 100 metres distance from the hotel. It is easily accessible for the tourists as it takes only 10 minutes from the local bus stand to reach here. Moreover its approachability to The Mall Road makes it the most visited hotels in Shimla. The services provided by the staff is excellent and praiseworthy. Hotel has its own restaurant and bars also. It has a open terrace, a dining hall and bar too.
