Yes,this year we do had excess rainfall and it caused extensive damage to life and property.Shimla,Hamirpur,Kinnaur,Chamba and Kullu were the worst affected districts. This year although we had a bumper crop of apple , but rains played spoilsport and roads were blocked for a major part of the season. This may be considered as a warning of changing weather patterns(due to Global warming)

Yes Yajnish, you are very correct that apple growers in Himachal had to suffer lots of problem in transportation due to heavy rainfall. The roads have been severely damaged in many upper regions of Himachal. Landslides seemed to be very common in various parts of Himachal. Changing weather seems to create a chaos this year.Still the rains have not stopped. If the situation goes the same, the year is going to observe severe cold this winters.
