Karva Chouth the famous fast of married women is going to be celebrated all over India on 26/10/10 .On this day women keep fast for the well being of their spouses.This fast is very tough as women did not drink water,not even a drop.in Shimla the real show takes place at The Ridge where women gathers to watch the rising of moon.They watch the moon and their hubby through a sieve.After that women break their fast.It is a great feeling watching moon from Ridge.

Yes this festive season comes with a lot of excitement among the people of Shimla and state as well. 'Karva Chouth', the pious fast kept by Indian women for the long life of their spouses is really a day of ecstasy among the women. Soon, Diwali celebrations will start at full pace and the markets are already getting packed with Diwali gifts.
