This is very common discussions among all. Well as far the sleeping is concerned, if this give us joy to sleep extra five minutes in the morning then i think one should go for it, becuase our whole day is full of commitment and responsibilities, so to meet them we never get time to enjoy.
So we should not miss even a single chance to enjoy life even it comes in 5 min. extra sleep in the morning. But by doing so one should be concerned about our schedules, it should not lead to any important thing missing.
Also once can not measure progress in a day or two, it takes decades to decide whether we are successful or not.
