It was a matter of great surprise as well as joy when the people got up from their cozy beds watching white sheet of snow everywhere. In the morning at about 7 am snowfall was at its full pace. Tourists who have come to Shimla during this time are surely feeling lucky to see the snowfall live ion front of their eyes. The snowfall came with double happiness as it is the day of the famous Lohri Festival. Lohri is celebrated with great craze in norther India, mostly Punjab and Himachal. For the residents of Shimla Lohri came with a great gift of snowfall. Local residents of Shimla and tourists are enjoying this fantastic weather and celebrating the festival.
