Networking:-

When we connect two or more computer with each other and share their resources by cable or wireless medium is called networking. When we connect only two computer with each other then we use cross cable and two LAN(Local Area Network ) cards. But now a days LAN card will be inbuilt on motherboards in mother board number “ Pentium “865,915,945,etc. when we connect more then two computer and share their resources in to each other then we use parallel cable and HUB .All parallel cables one end will connect with LAN card and other with HUB. When we send or transfer the data between computer through HUB ,The data will be transferring each and every ports of HUB. So data transfer rate is less around 10 mbps. If we increase the data transfer rate then we use SWITCH at the place of HUB.
