Himachal Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Board

Himachal Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection board is situated in district Hamirpur. Himachal Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Board was created in the year 1998 on 6th of October. HPSSSB is basically a part of Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission Shimla and HPSSB is crerated to divide the responsibilities of HPPSC. Mr. KC Malhothra was the first chairman of HPSSSB Hamirpur. The first member of HPSSSB Hamirpur was Sh. Surinder Mohan Katwal. Nirmal Singh was the first secretary of the HPSSSB Hamirpur.

Function of HPSSSB Hamirpur:

HPSSSB Hamirpur conduct exams for the the selection in the various posts such as:

1.Sub Inspector exam by HPSSSB Hamirpur: The minimum qualification required for the post of sub Inspector is Graduation in any stream.

2.TGT exam by HPSSSB Hamirpur: The minimum qualification required for TGT Post is graduation and B.Ed from a recognized university.

3.Lecturer exams by HPSSSB Hamirpur: The minimum qualification required for this Lecturer post is master degree in any stream from a recognized university.

4.JBT exam by HPSSSB Hamirpur: 12th pass is the minimum qualification required for the post of JBT.
HPSSSB Hamirpur also conducts interview for the various posts.

HPSSSB Hamirpur is just on the walking distance of 2-3 minutes from Hamirpur bus Stand.HPSSSB Hamirpur office is just opposite to the Town Hall Hamirpur. Hamirpur Police Station is just 10-20 meter from the HPSSSB Hamirpur office.
