IPL-3 Matches in Dharmshala Cricket Stadium,Himachal

Indian Premier League is created by BCCI which includes 8 teams viz RCB, Kings XI Punjab, Rajasthan Royals, Kolkata Knight Riders, Deccan Chargers, Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Daredevils. Mr. Lalit Modi is the chairman as well as the commissioner of IPL. Indian Premier League is now on the threshold of third season. IPL third season will start from 12th of March. The first season of IPL was held in India. Rajasthan Royals team headed by Shane Warne was the winner of the first season of IPL. South Africa hosted the IPL-2 season. In IPL-2 Deccan Chargers team became winner by defeating Royal Challengers Bangalore. India will again host the IPL-3 season. There are some new venues for third season of IPL and Dharmshala cricket stadium in Himachal is one of them. Dharmshala cricket stadium is under Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association headed by Anurag Thakur the M.P. of BJP. Dharmshala cricket stadium is the only international cricket stadium in Himachal Pradesh. Dharmshala cricket stadium is situated in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh.

Dharmshala cicket stadium will host the following two matches:

1.Kings XI Punjab vs Deccan Chargers match at Dharmshala:

This match will be on 16th of April. The cricket lovers would get the opportunity of watching their favorite players such as : Yuvraj Singh, Gillchrist, Andrew Symonds, Kumar Sangakara and many more.

2.Kings XI Punjab vs Chennai Super Kings match at Dharmshala:

This match will be on 18th of April. In this IPL match cricket fans can watch Mahendra Singh Dhoni the captain of Chennai Super Kings.

Nearest airport from Dharmshala cricket stadium:

Gaagal airport is the nearest airport from HPCA Dharmshala’s cricket stadium. Gaggal airport is about 1 hour drive from Dharmshala.

There is also regular private as well as HRTC bus service to Dharmshala from the neighboring districts as well as states to Himachal.
