Kasauli – Soon going to become famous tourist destination

Kasauli, one of the most beautiful regions in the Solan district of Himachal Pradesh is soon going to develop into a famous tourist destination. Tcp department will soon be building many sports destination, hotels, restaurants etc. in Kasauli.

Kasauli region in Solan is small beautiful hill station. TCP Department has looked forward to develop Kasauli in terms of tourism. As Kasauli is the closest hill station to the plains like Chandigarh, Jalandhar, Harayana etc. but even then this historic tourist place does not have enough facilities to entertain the visitors and tourists coming from such regions. Thus TCP Department has decided to improve and increase the facilities for the tourists without harming the green and serene environment of Kasauli. In order to provide ease of reaching to Kasauli with full services, the TCP department has also decided to make Tourist Destination in the outskirts of Kasauli region.

Initially it is planned to make tourist parks, gardens and spots around all the regions touching Gadkhol PA Pinion Road, Gadkhol Jagjit Nagar and Kasauli Jangeshu-Parwanoo Road. This will attract the tourists coming from outside Himachal. These forest regions will also have water sports and adventure sports facilities. Moreover, the national highway, all the link roads connecting Kasauli will be given the permission to set up hotels, restaurant, cafetarias etc. In order to attract more and more tourists, the ice cream parlour, gift shops, fast food centres, telephone booth etc. will all be constructed in the traditional Himachali look.

The department has not only looked into the tourist point of view but has also given a grave concern to the security. Monkey Point in Kasauli has an Indian Air Force Station. As such this region is very sensitive in terms of protection. Thus no construction will be done here. Tourists will not be allowed to enter this region with mobile phones, cameras and other electronic items. Moreover, the Cantt area Kasauli has fantastic building of British era, a church, library etc. which will be renovated to attract more tourists.

Lower Mall and Upper Mall in Kasauli will be provided with more sitting places to accommodate greater number of people. Rain shelters, public toilets will also increase in number. With all these development in Ksauli region, it will soon become a famous tourist spots in Himachal attracting thousands of tourists every year.
