List of Chief Ministers of Himachal Pradesh in the chronological order:

1. Dr. Yashwant Singh Parmar: Dr. Yashwant Singh PArmar was the first Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh. Dr. Yashwant Singh Parmar was the leader of Congress party. Dr. Yashwant Singh tenure was from year 1952 – 1977.

2. Thakur Ram Lal: Thakur Ram Lal served as the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh for the short period from January 1977 to April 1977. Thakur Ram Lal once again elected as the Chief Minister of Himachal from 1980-1983.

3. Sh. Shanta Kumar: Sh. Shanta Kumar is the leader of BJP. Sh. Shanta Kumar was the first Chief Minister of Himachal who belongs to Bhartiya Janta Party. Sh. Shanta Kumar elected as the CM of Himachal from 1977-1980. Sh. Shanta Kumar served as Chief Minister of Himachal from 1990-1992.

4. Sh. Veer Bhadra Singh: Sh. Veer Bhadra Singh is the only who served as Chief Minister of Himacahl for the maximum number of time. Sh. Veer Bhadra Singh is the leader of Congress party. Sh. Veer Bhadra Singh first elected as the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh from the year 1983-1985. Sh. Veer Bhadra Singh second time re-elected as Chief Minister of Himachal from year 1985-1990.Sh. Veer Bhadra Singh third time elected as CM of Himachal from year 1993-1998. Sh. Veer Bhadra Singh fourth time served as Chief Minister of Himachal for a shorter period from 3rd of March to 23rd of March in the year 1998. Sh. Veer Bhadra Singh re-elected as the Chief Minister of Himachal for the fifth time from the year 2003-2007.

5. Sh. Prem Kumar Dhumal: Sh. Prem Kumar Dhumal is the leader of BJP. Sh. Prem Kumar Dhumal first elected as the Chief Minister of Himachal from the year 1998-2003. Sh. Prem Kumar Dhumal elected as the Chief Minister of Himachal in the 2007 election and Sh. Prem Kumar Dhumal is serving as the present Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh.
