Introduction to Fair of Nabahi


"NABAHI" a small village situated in the lap of beautifull hills of Himachal Pradesh.Nabahi is famous for the temples of "NABAHI MATA" , "LORD SHIVA" & for the "FAIR OF NABAHI".
Nabahi is situated at Sarkaghat-Mandi state highway at a distence of 4km from Sarkaghat & about 45km away from Mandi.

Origin of Fair of Nabahi


Fair of Nabahi is a very historical fair and people has been celebrating it since last 90-100 years. Fair of Nabahi is celebrated in the respect of "NABAHI MATA".It is said that this fair was started on the Birth of "NABAHI MATA" at Nabahi.
The fair of Nabahi runs upto 3-4 days & during these days there is a great rush in the temple of Nabahi Mata & Lord Shiva for prayer.A very big worship in both of the temples is organised by the local people of the place.

Many people from all over Himachal Pradesh get collected at Nabahi for the prayer of "NABAHI MATA" and also for the fair of Nabahi.Fair of the Nabahi is one of the famous and historical events in Himachal Pradesh. Spacial transport facility is provided on the day of fair of Nabahi for the peoples travelling for the fair.Juice and drinking water is provided free of the cost by the local people at different places around the fair. The "FAIR OF NABAHI" is considered as a very holy and historical fair of Himachal Pradesh.
