Mata Asha Purni Temple is situated at Parwanoo located in district Solan.

The temple is built on the hill top at Parwanoo with a complete view of the surrounding areas of Parwanoo like Kalka,Pinjore upto Panchkula.This temple has a great religious significance.People reach here from very far places to pray and get their prayers fulfilled from the goddess.

History of Mata Asha Purni Temple in Parwanoo

The area at hill top where this temple had been built is very historic.Very old sculptures of the goddess and many items related to her were found buried in the ground.It is said that the person who found those historic religious items was ordered by a voice to built a temple with the name "MATA ASHA PURNI"with the new sculptures as the old ones were damaged and cannot be worshiped.So,since then Mata Asha Purni is worshiped there.
It is said that whosoever comes praying to the temple get his/her wishes fulfilled.
The temple can be visited by two routes:
1)2kms trekking from Kalka.
2)2kms trekking from Parwanoo.
