Sheetla Mata Temple at Parwanoo,distict sSlan H.P.

Sheetla Mata Mandir

situated on kalka-Shimla national highway at Parwanoo.The temple has very religious beliefs among the people of the parwanoo who know about it,this is very old temple and was there when parwanoo was built.
Sheetla Mata mandir has a festival twice every year before navaratras every year.
The festival is on the three tuesdays before every navaratrs.All the people from neighboring areas come to visit the temple and take the blessings of mataji.
people stand in the long lines at early in the morning from around 5:00am in the festival days.
The national highway in parwanoo is completely covered with the vendors during the festival and therefore the festival is called as Sheetla Mata Mella.
The Sheetla Mata temple is located near to the kasauli road in Parwanoo and is on the road side.People passing Parwanoo can view the temple.
The temple is small but has a greater significance to the people.
