Sujanpur Tira Holi Fair in Hamirpur (HP)

Holi is festival of colors. It is the symbol of love and peace. Sujanpur Holi Fair in district Hamirpur is a inter-state holi fair. Sujanpur Holi Fair is famous throughout India ,specially in north India. Sujanpur Holi Fair starts every year a few days before Holi and ends up after few days of Holi.The venue for Sujanpur Holi Fair is at Municipal-Committee ground near the Sujanpur bus stand.This ground is consider as the heart of Sujanpur town. It adds the immense to beauty of this town .Some part of ground is now under control of Sainik school.

The Sujanpur Tira fort was built by the the king of the Sujanpur named "Raja Sansar chand",who was also the king of district Kangra before came here. Earlier the name of Sujanpur Tira was "Sajjanpur". It was because of the people of town, who were cosidered to be very nice.Beautiful ground of Sujanpur Tira was also made by Raja "Sansar Chand".
