M.C.M D.A.V college Kangra is one of the most reputed and famous college of Himachal Pradesh. The full name of M.C.M. D.A.V college Kangra is "Meher Chand Mahajan" Dayanand Anglo Vaidic college Kangra. It was established in 1976.

M.C.M D.A.V college Kangra is one of the most reputed and famous college of Himachal Pradesh. The full name of M.C.M. D.A.V college Kangra is "Meher Chand Mahajan" Dayanand Anglo Vaidic college Kangra. M.C.M. D.A.V. College in Kangra was was established in 1976. The name of the college is kept in the honour of "Meher Chand Mahajan" who was the first chief justice of India from Himachal Pradesh. To keep alive his contribution in indian history, the name of D.A.V college Kangra is kept as M.C.M D.A.V college Kangra.

It is situated near the municipality-ground Kangra.i.e. hardly at a run of 1 km from Kangra bus stand. M.C.M. D.A.V college Kangra is not a fully private body. Instead it is 95% aided government body. Basically this college is run by the Sanstha(organization) named Dayanand Anglo Vaidic. There are many other colleges which run under this Sanstha,such as M.C.M. D.A.V college Chandigarh (sec. 10),M.C.M. D.A.V college Chandigarh for women.

The college also has well-furnished hostels for both boys (New Boys Hostel) and girls. The college campus also have a well facilitated Basket-ball court. M.C.M. D.A.V college kangra has a well-equipped library, which is the 2nd largest library in any college of Himachal Pradesh.

The most interesting thing about this college is that it also has program for +1 and +2 classes also. It has well-educated staff for all kinds of streams.
