Himachal also Known as Dev Bhoomi has a vibrant culture. This vast and vibrant culture of Himachal can be understood by folk songs of Himachal. Here is the list of some of the famous folk singers of Himachal Pradesh who represent the culture of Himachal through their songs.

1.Karnail Rana: Karnail Rana is most popular singer of Himachal. Karnail Rana belongs to district Kangar of Himachal. Karnail Rana is the only singer who is ranked 'A' by All India Radio.

2.Ghambri Devi:Ghambari Devi is he oldest and famous folk singer of Himachal. Ghamri Devi hails from Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradseh.

3.Roshni Devi: Roshni Devi belongs to Narkanda which is in district Shimla. Roshni Devi also known as the singing queen of Himachal. Roshni Devi has given her live performance in fairs such as Kullu Dusherra, Lavi fair, Shivrathri in Mandi are some of them.

4.Vickey Chauhan: Vickey Chauhan is Youth Icon for many youths of Himachal. Vickey Chauhan singing talent is God gift as he has not done any training in music. Vickey Chauhan also popular for his dashing look worked as actor in two Phari movies.

5.Thakur Das Rathi: Neeru Chaali Ghumdi fame Thakur das Rathi writes the lyrics of his songs himself. Thakur Das Rathi is popularly known as 'King of Naati'. Thakur Das Rathi also released many video albums from which 'O Sumithra'and 'O Sakunthla' are most popular videos among masses. Thakur Das Rathi is also the live performer in many fairs and festivals of Himachal Pradesh.

6.Dheeraj sharma: The renowned singer Dheeraj sharma belongs to Baijnath in district Kangra of Himachal Pradesh. Dheeraj sharma learnt the basic of music from his mother who was also a popular folksinger of her time. Dheeraj sharma came in to limelight by the serial Taza Geet Bahar which was telecasted on Dhoordharshan channel. Dheeraj Sharma also shared the stage in live concerts with famous bollywood playback singers such as Kavita Krishnamurthi and Jaswinder Narula.

7.Dharmendar Sharma: Dharmendar shjarma hails from the kullu district. Dharmendar Sharma is the fame of programme called Him Kalash. Dharmendar Sharma has released numerous number of audio and video cassettes of his songs.

8.Ravikanta Kashyap: Ravikanta Kashyap was born in Bilaspur district of Himachal. Ravikanta Kashyap was awarded with ' Himachal's Parveen Sultana' title when she won competition organized by HPU during her graduation. Ravikanta Kashyap sung many folk as well as religious songs.
