Naldehra – Highest and Oldest Golf Course in India

Naldehra is a famous tourist spot of Himachal Pradesh is located in district Shimla. Naldhera is just 27 k m from Shimla. Naldhera is named after a local deity whose temple is also present in Naldhera.

Lord Curzon was the first person who played the Golf in Naldhera in the year 1905. Dr. Yashwant Singh Parmar- the first Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh used to play Golf in Naldhera. Naldhera is also famous and one of the most visited tourist spots in Himachal Pradesh. In Naldhera there is also restaurant of Himachal Pradesh Tourism Department Corporation (HPTDC). Naldhera is also the choice of many film directors of Bollywood for shooting films due to natural and heart touching beauty of Naldhera- Famous Golf course of Himachal.

How to reach Naldhera in Shimla:

Naldhera is well connected with all major cities such as Chandigarh, Delhi by road and there is regular bus facility to Naldhera.

By Rail:
Kalka railway station is the nearest railway station to Naldhera at a distance of 90 km from Shimla. From Kalka railway station tourist can enjoy the journey of Kalka- Shimla rail –'the world heritage '.

By Air:
Jubbar Hatti is the nearest airport to Naldhera at a distance of about 45 km.
