Introduction to Jwalaji Temple in Kangra:

Jwalaji temple situated in Jwalamukhi region of Kangra district is one of the nationally famous temples and one of the 51 Shakti Peeths in India. Jwalaji Temple is situated at a height of about 500 metres above the sea level. Jwalaji temple is known for its gold domed temple in which there is no idol, instead there is an eternal blue flame emanating from the holy rock since ages. This blue flame is worshipped as Goddess Jwalaji. Not only in India but as well as in the world, Jwalaji is the temple of its only type where Goddess is worshiped as a flame.
