Palampur -Tea Garden City in Himachal Pradesh

Palampur is the famous town of Himachal Pradesh. Palampur is situated in district Kangra, Himachal Pradesh. Palampur is also famous for gardens of tea. There are pine and oak forest in Palampur. Palampur is a very cheerful town of Himachal Pradesh.

The famous Eye hospital is situated on Maranda at Palampur. Veterinary college and Agriculture University is in Palampur town. An ancient temple of Lord Shiva which made in 9th century is 15th kilometer away from Palampur. This Temple is known as Bajnath temple.

The Palampur town has many beautiful walks. Thousands of visitors come every year in this town for ramble. Some of visitors are study the life of there people. Its cheerful beauty touched the visitor's heart. Many pilgrims come in Palampur to see the Jawalamukhi temple and Lord Shiva temple in Bajnath. This town gives the internal peace of visitors. The city has well planed walks and peaceful picnic spots on the Bandla stream. In the British time, they called Palampur as a tea estate. Palampur is a lovely city of Himachal Pradesh.
