Nature has given so many presents to Himachal Pradesh. Prashar lake is one of those presents. Prashar lake is located in Distt. Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. It is right there in the middle of high green hills. Distance of Prashar lake from Mandi town is 40 km in north direction. Prashar lake is located at a height of 9000ft from sea level. When you go to Mandi to Pandoh , at a distance of 2-3 km from Mandi bus stand, you will find a link road, which take you people straight to this beautiful lake. It gives a view like enimated movie scene.

On the bank of beautiful Prashar lake there is also a three tiered temple which is dedicated to Prashar. A fair is held here every year in the month of June, where people gather from all neighbouring villages. During your visit to Prashar lake , you can also visit to Rewalsar lake which also falls under distt. Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. Those who loves trekking, they can also make their wish to come true. There is a place named "Janjehli" which is 65 km from Mandi town.
