Baijnath temple is the famous temple of Himachal Pradesh. This temple is very old and this temple is related to Lord Shiva. Baijnath temple was made in 13th century. This temple is made in Shikhra style and Nagra style. There are many small gardens and trees which cover the outer wall of temple. This temple is made in conical shape. A big statue of Lord Shiva situated here. There are many statues present here. The old architecture of temple has many pictures in wall of temple. These pictures are so beautiful and they give us the knowledge of old architecture. They built the pictures of God and Goddess in both side of statue of Lord Shiva. The temple is also like a king fort. The water of this temple is so fresh and this water also has a medicinal value because this water come from the hills which are covered by snow.

Many people come to visit Baijnath temple to see the pictures of God and Goddess. There is a great rush in this temple because this temple is so beautiful and the pictures of walls like a living organs. In the front view of temple there is a Nandi Bail statue present. This temple situated in the hills of Beas valley. This temple is so beautiful because this temple situated in the top of hills and you can see the hills which are covered by snow. This temple attracts the peoples and tourists. This temple is also counted among various old temples of world. This temple is the famous temple of Himachal Pradesh and people come here to pay homage to lord Shiva.

History of Baijnath temple

This temple was built in 1204AD. This temple is made by the name of Ahuka and Manuka. They have built this temple in the style of Shikhra style and Nagra style. In the 14th century they decorated this temple and made this temple in the style of king fort. In 20th century this temple was suffered by earthquake but Raja Sansar Chand renovated this temple. Baijnath temple is a part of Indian culture so the government of Himachal Pradesh takes vows to provide this temple in anything.

Festival of Baijnath temple

Shivratri is the major festival of Baijnath temple. Huge crowd visit Baijnath temple at the tme of festival and they celebrate this festival with their friends and relatives. There is a great rush in the time of festival because the people and tourist should be want to be a part of this festival and they want to be pray the god. During Shivaratri festival, in night there are many artists sing 'Bhajans'.
