Narghota is a very small but beautiful village 3 kms South of Dharamshala. The population of this peaceful village is around 400 people with around 60 households. Inhabitants of Narghota are mainly Rajputs.

Narghota is a very small but beautiful village 3 kms South of Dharamshala. The population of this peaceful village is around 400 people with around 60 households. Inhabitants of Narghota are mainly Rajputs. Almost every household has one memeber in the Indian Army.

What makes Narghota a perfect place for the visitors is its natural beauty with no pollution at all. The reason being Narghota is surrounded by Tea Gardens and Pine forests from all the sides. There is only one road from Dharamshala that ends at Narghota. The traffic moment is negligible because people generally walk from Dharamshala to visit this unique village. There are no shops or any restaurant in this village.

If you are nature lover then take a walk from Dharamshala to this village. The walk amidst Tea Gardens is truly mesmerising and will sooth your heart and soul. The cool and pure breeze will rejuvinate you mentally and physically. The empty road with lush green surroundings enthrall you to the fullest. The chirruping of different kind of birds will add to the delight.

On the way you can also visit Tea Factory which produces Internationally acclaimed Tea which is mostly exported to different countries.

Narghota will give you a Panoramic view of the Kangra Valley on one side and snow capped Dhauladhar range of Himalayas on the other.
