Famous and Most Visited Hot Water Springs in Himachal Pradesh

In Himachal Pradesh there are so many hot water springs. These hot water springs are popularly known as Kund in Himachal Pradesh. The water of these springs is also used for medicinal purpose to cure many skin diseases.

Below is the list of most popular hot water springs in Himachal Pradesh:

Manikaran:-

Manikarn situated in district Kullu of Himachal Pradesh is popular for its large number of Hot water springs. Manikaran is situated on the bank of Parbati River which is approximately 45 km from main bus stand of Kullu. The temperature of the water of these springs is so high so it can be used to boil and cook the pulses, rice, Chapattis and vegetables.

Tattapani:-

Tattapani one of the famous tourist spots is situated in Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh. Tattapani is 51 kms from Shimla and 29 kms from Naldera. This is situated on the Bank of Satluj River. The water level of this spring is equal to the water level of Satluj river. The temperature of this water spring is normal.

Kasol:-

kasol is located in Kullu district.Kasol is 1km from Manikaran and 32kms from Bhuntar(first airport of Himachal Pradesh). The temperature of water in this spring is normal and lower than the temperature of the Manikaran spring. Kasol spring is situated in Nikhtan village.

Khirganga:-

Khirganga is situated in Kullu district. Khirganga is 26kms from Kullu and 10kms from Pulga.Khirganga is also famous for its hot water springs.

Vashisth:-

Vashisth hot water spring is situated in Kullu district. This is situated on the bank of river Beas. Vashisth is also famous for temple of Lord Rama and Vashisth Rishi.

Chadwick Fall:-

Chadwick Fall is situated in Shimla. Chadwick Fall is 3kms from Summer Hill and 12kms from ISBT Shimla.
