Himachal Apples will soon pe planted in Israel

Apples, the major cash crop of Shimla, Kullu, Kinnaur etc. is famous throughout the country for its taste. It was from America that apples made their entry into Himachal decades ago. Now,Himachal apples are going to be planted in Israel. Recently, Israel ambassador Dr. Barjoor made a survey of Himachal Pradesh along with Nauni University and found that Himachal apple varieties can very well be grown in Israel.

Dr. Barjoor stated that if apples from America can grow very well in Himachal then why not Himachal apples in Israel. He also guided Himachal farmers and agriculturists to make use of scientific techniques in agriculture to get better and more output. Soon a MoU will be signed between Nauni University and Israel, following which research will be carried on Himachal fruits and vegetables in Israel. This will also help to develop friendly relations between Himachal and Israel in agricultural field.
