Photographers in Himachal can win exciting prizes!

People from Himachal who carry on photography as their hobby and have a good collection of wildlife photographs can win exciting prizes. Yes, 'Wildlife Week' occasion will be organized by State Wildlife wing during the first week of October, 2010. On this occasion State Wildlife Wing is going to start various contests for the photographers from Himachal.

Details of the Photography Contest by State Wildlife Wing, Himachal:

1. Theme Photography Contest-Type I: In this contest all the non-professional photographers can submit their unique photographs related to wildlife, insects and amphibians. There are three prizes in this category:
(a) 1st Prize: A cash prize of Rs. 7,000.
(b) 2nd Prize: A cash prize of Rs. 5,000.
(c) 3rd Prize: A cash prize of Rs. 3,000.

2. Theme Photography Contest-Type II: In this contest photographers can submit their fantastic snapshots related to medicinal plants and different types of herbs. Winners in this contest will also be awarded three cash prizes.

3. Entries for the photography contest are invited by State Wildlife Wing till 4th October, 2010.

4. It is estimated that 400-500 contestants will participate in this contest.
