Maharana Pratap Sagar is situated in Kangra distt of H.P.

Maharana Pratap Sagar

Named after the name of Great Maharana Pratap this lake is situated in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh. It is also known as Pong Lake
It is 170 km from Chandigarh, 110 km from Amritsar & 55 km from Dharmshala.
Nearest railway station is Mukerian-30 km from the lake.
Nearest airport is Gaggal-40 km from it.
You can also reach here by travelling through road.
This lake is a very big attraction for the tourists. One can see thousands of ducks in this lake.
The best season to visit this lake is between September to March.
There are many hotels around this spot. One can have his/her stay in one of those hotels.
