There are many famous things to see in Kangra district. There are many ancient fort and beautiful towns are situated in Kangra district. Some places of Kangra district are situated in Shivalik hills and some are situated in Dhaludhar range. It is situated in west part of Himachal. The places and things of this district are showing his ancient values. It was established a district of Himachal Pradesh in 1966. Kangra district is a capital of Raja Sansar Singh Chand in ancient time.

Kangra Fort: Kangra Fort is completely made in 11th century and it is 1.5kms from Kangra main bus stand.
It is situated in Nagar Kot. This fort is beautiful in his own words and a beautiful place of the Kangra district. Some kings of other countries are attacked in this fort to take it but the Raja of Kangra district does not complete the dream of all the kings. The wall of this fort shows his ancient and culture values of people.
Dharamshala: Dharamshala is a beautiful place of Kangra district which is 18kms from Kangra bus stand. It is rainy place of Himachal Pradesh. The Himachal Board of Scholl Education and Technical Board is situated in Dharamshala. It is situated in the foot of Dhaludhars range in the altitude of 1350 meters from sea level. The district headquarter is situated in Dharamshala. Dharamshala is a perfect place to make a civil business.
Palampur: Palampur is a beautiful small town of Kangra district which is situated in the foot of Dhaludhars range. Palampur is famous for its beauty of snow peaks and Dhaludhars hills are covered by snow, that all can you see from Palampur. A collage and University is situated in Palampur. This collage and university is related with Agriculture. The name of this University is Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vidalaya University.
Baijanth Temple: Baijnath temple situated in baijnath. This temple was built in 13th century and situated in Beas valley. Shivratri is the major festival of Baijnath temple.
Jawala Jee and Bhagsunath Temple: Jawala Ji temple is situated in the between of Naduan and Kangra road. It is beautiful temple and the Goddess of this temple is known as "Goddess of Light". Bhagsunath is the other famous temple of Kangra district. It is situated 2kms from Meclodganj and situated in the altitude of 1800 meters from sea level. The temple was related with Buddha.
