Himachal Budget Session 2011-2012 Highlights

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal Presented 2011 Budget. Dhumal who also takes care of Finance Portfolio of HP has presented a, populist budget with Rs 16,708.46 crore outlays. Common man has not burdened with any new Tax for 2011-2012.

Annual plan in Budget 2011-2012 - Rs 3,300 crore (10% higher than previous year)
Closing Surplus - Rs 345.89 crore.

CM Plans to meet the revenue target of around Rs 2268.11 crore by additional borrowings. Around 550 crore from advances, deposits, remittance, provident fund etc.

Rs 5,881.66 crore (35.20%) will be used for salaries, Rs 960.84 crore (5.75%) on loan repayments, Rs 2,150 crore (12.87%) against interest payments on loans raised, and Rs 2,210 crore 13.23%) on pensions from Rs 16,708.47 Cr budgeted expenditure and 32.95% on development.

CM has announced in Budget 2011-2012 that Subsidies to the tune of Rs 400 crore (on PDS, electricity, transport) to be carried forward.
Outlay on Education in Himachal Budget 2011-2012- Rs 3,164.54 crore (increase of Rs 597.54 crore)

For building Bridges & Roads Rs 603.68

For Scheduled Caste sub-plan - Rs 816 crore

For tribal sub-plan Rs 297 crore,

For health and Ayurveda Rs 156.42

Outlay of Rs 428 crore Asian Development Bank project announce by CM in Budget 2011-2012 for development of tourisms infrastructure

Rs 120.08 crore outlay has been announced by Dhumal for forestry and wild life sector

Rs 461.60 crore for power sector

Rs 290 crore for IPH.

Good news for the Ex Emplyees of Himachal Pradesh. The CM announced that Rs 550 crore would be used for disbursing pending arrears of 5th Pay Commission recommendation.

All the HP Daily wages employees who have completed 8 years of service till march 31, 2011, would be regularized.

HP Recruitments 2011 2012 - Government will recruit 800 Clerks for the vacant seats.
