History

The university now known as Agriculture University was one a College of agriculture. The college was established in the year 1966. In the year 1978 the college was upgraded to the status of the university. The university is attributed to many enhanced varieties of diverse crops in Himachal as well as in India.

The Agriculture University of Palampur is offering Bachelors/ Masters degrees as well as Doctoral Programs in the field of agriculture, animal sciences, home sciences, veterinary sciences and basic sciences.
