The Kashmir House Dharamshala was Built in 1935 by Lala Amar Nath Sood, The Kashmir House was later purchased by Hari Singh who was the then Maharaja of Jammu and Kashmir. Raja Hari Singh later on sold The Kashmir House Dharamshala to Punjab Government. Himachal was part of Punjab then.
