Admission Procedure, Application Form and Eligibility Sainik School Sujanpur Tira

Sainik school Sujanpur Tira admits boys from Classes VI & IX. Thei age of the applicants should be between10-11 years for class VI and the age should be 13-14 for class IX as on 1st July of the year in which admission is sought.

The candidates applying for the admissions in Sujanpur Tira need to undergo entrance examination for admission to class VI & IX. The witten test is followed by interview. Only those candidates who qualify in the written examination are called for interview keeping in view the number of vacancies available.

The medical test is also conducted and the admission to these classes is subject to the candidates being found medically fit. There are certain medical standards prescribed for entry to National Defence Academy and the candidates need to pass the fitness test. However the administration ignores factors like height and weight which are variable.

Hostel Facility in Sainik School Sujanpur Tira (HP)

The Sainik School Sujanpur Tira has six hostels that accommodate over 546 cadets. New students of class sixth enter the Jhelum house. Other Hostels in Sainik School Sujanpur are named Beas House, Chenab House, Ravi House, Satluj House and Yamuna House. Rest of the cadets are allotted in one of these five Hostels in Sainik School Sujanpur Tira.

There is a huge Cadets Mess in Sainik School Sujanpur Tira. The mess has two dining halls with a seating capacity of over 546 cadets. There is also a space for anteroom in one of the halls.

The kitchen is adjoining to dining hall and there is a school bakery as well. The kitchen and bakery of Sainik School are are run on smoke free /pollution free LPG.

The school also has a cafeteria and CSD canteen to cater to the requirement of the cadets.
