Tourist spot Lahaul Spiti

Introduction

Lahaul Spiti is a big district in HP.It is also attached with Tibet & this is international boundry. The entire district is full of natural scenery exorting the tourists and visitors to explore and its hidden grandeur.Every village or a hamlet has a prayer flag fluttering over the Buddhist monastery.

History

Lahaul & Spiti, which now form, a district of Himachal Pradesh, bordering Tibet,It is attained the status of a district in the year 1960. Till then it was merely a tehsil of Kullu Sub-division. As is clear from the name 'Lahaul & Spiti', the district comprises two different mountains tracts, one known as Lahaul and the other as Spiti.

Location

It is located over there at the snow clad mountains,which is always covered by full of adventures.It very beautiful place to a visit. Lahaul abounds with monasteries,and it is surrounded by a series of high mountains.

Lahaul Spiti view is very beautiful to see.Because it is totally covered with highly mountains.And the mountains are always covered with snow.That,s why there wheather is very cold in every time.

By Rail Through the rail people goes to there very easily.The nearest railhead is situated at Jogindernagar,Shimla & Chandigarh.
By Air Through the air people reach there very easily.The nearest airport is Bhunter(Kullu).
