IIT Mandi

IIT Mandi is one of the new IITs established newly across different parts of India.The operations of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, began on the campus of IIT Roorkee, on July 24, 2009.The ITTwas registered as a Society on June 20, 2009. At the moment, the students doing B Tech course from IIT Mandi are being benefited from the services provided in the IIT Roorkee campus. A new campus has been planned for IIT Mandi, at the beautiful site in Kamand, Himachal Pradesh. The construction of the new property for IIT Mandi is likely to start form the year 2011. The institute is planning to start M Tech programme from the year 2011. From the year 2010, the institute is also offering research programmes in all disciplines. All research scholars are eligible for an Institute scholarship.

Eligibility

Candidates should have passed 10+2 in science stream (PCM), from a recognized Board.
