The institute is affiliated to HPU Shimla and is approved by AICTE New Delhi, Ministry of Human Resource Development and Government of India. The college is running four year degree course in the field of Pharmacy as the rules of the H P University. The institute of Pharmacy is having adequate amenities for its students.
