Tourist spot Pin valley park.

Introduction

Pin valley Park is the only National Park in HP which is situated in the cold desert area. There are 17 villages situated in the Park with a total population of about 1600 people. There is famous Gompa in the Kungri village which is situated on the buffer Zone in this Park.

Location

This Park is located in the cold desert area of spiti Sub-division of Lahaul & Spiti district of HP.

View

There view is so cold in winter season. Due to the heavy snow fall there view is very ossam to see. Because it is totally covered by highly ranges.

Season

Being cold desert high altitude are winters are severe and experiences very heavy snow fall in the park area. In general Pin Valley Park area is much moister than Spiti valley.

Facilities

Forest department has constructed many inspection paths, bunkers and one transit accommodation at Mud Farka in the National Park. Bunkers are situated at an interval of 10-15 kms distance.

Access

By Road
Through the road by bus reach there easily.Arround 270 kms far away from the Manali.
By Rail
Nearest rail head is Shimla to reach there.
By Air
Nearest airport is Bhunter(Kullu).
