Tara Devi Temple is situated in queen of hills Shimla.It is located at the top of the hills.
Introduction
Tara Devi Temple, located in Shimla is a very famous tourist attraction of this place. This famous temple can be visited while traveling on the Kalka - Shimla National Highway. The Tara Devi Temple is situated at the top of a hill in Shimla.
History
The origin of this temple can be traced back to around 250 years. It is said Goddess Tara was brought all the way from West Bengal to Himachal Pradesh. A King from the Sen dynasty visited this place after some years.
Location
Tara Devi Temple is located at the top of a hills and it is surrounded by lush green Devdar trees. It is 11 kms far away from Shimla. And there atmosphere is very peaceful.
View
There view is very beautiful to see. In the winter season view are ossam to see because all trees are covered by snowfall.
Famous For
This temple is famous for Goddess Tara along with Hanuman, who desired that she should be available for the public to pray and seek blessings.
Altitute
This temple altitude is 1210m above the sea level.
Access
By Road
Through the road people reach there very easily. Because it is connected with NH22.People get the bus in 24 hrs .And they should also hire the Taxis from Shimla and other places.
By Rail
Nearest railhead is in the Shimla.
By Air
Through the air near Airport is Jubbadhati in Shimla.
