Giri lake

Giri lake is one of the most famous lakes in Himachal Pradesh. It is situated in Solan-Sirmaur district of Himachal Pradesh. It is also known as Ulti Naddi. It got its name i.e. Ulti Naddi from its flow. Normally water flows from high altitude to low altitude but water in this lake flows from low altitude to high altitude.

How to reach Giri Lake

This lake is situated on the border of the Solan-Sirmaur district of Himachal Pradesh. It is situated at Giripul place. It is 25 km away from the main bazaar of Solan and is just 5 km away from the famous spot Rajgarh of Sirmaur district.
You can access this place by use of bus or you can hire a private taxi to reach this spot.

Places to visit around Giri lake

Maryog is the nearest visitable spot from this lake. This spot is known for milk dairy and is one of the largest milk dairy in Himachal Pradesh. There is a very high gate at the entry of this dairy.
Rajgarh is one more visitable spot to visit near this lake. It is a very famous tourist spot in Sirmaur district of Himachal Pradesh.
