Provisional Himachal census data 2011 has come. Himachal Pradesh has shown a population growth of over 12% in Himachal census 2011. The sex ratio in Himachal is 974:1000 which is much higher than other states like Punjab, Delhi and Rajasthan. Though overall literacy rate in Himachal Pradesh as per the census 2011 is over 83% but the female literacy rate is way behind the male literacy rate in Himachal Pradesh.
