Changing trend in Himachal Policeman

Within coming months you will see every Himachali policeman in a different manner. Each Policeman of Himachal Pradesh will get a digital code or also called a unique personal identification card. This number will distributed to every rank officer whether that is Constable or Police chief.
Special in this digital card- this card will contain a seven digit code instead of that belt number (which is currently the identification of Himachal Police). The identification by belt number was continued from the time of Britishers. This code will include all details includeing personal and official details about the employee i.e. Policeman.

Colour of Himachal Police dress may change

According to some resources it is said that the colour of Himachal Police dress may change from the usual Khaki to sky blue. But Indian
Police Service(IPS) is not ready to bring this change in the colours in the dresses. So lets wait what will happen in the coming days with the Himachal Police persons. But it is sure that they will be identified with a unique digital number which is a 7 eight code and will include every detail about a specific Police person of every rank.
