Murari Devi Temple is a beautiful & great place to visit in Sunder Nagar tehsil of Distt. Mandi. This Temple is in the west of Sunder Nagar on the top of a sacred hill named Murari Dhar. It is believed that this temple was made by Pandwas during their "AGYATWAAS". There are also some rocks on which some large human footprints can be seen and local people say that these foot prints are of Pandwas.

There are two ways to reach Murari Devi Temple. Main path is from Sunder Nagar to Swahraghat which is about 18 kilometres in distance. You can reach Swahraghat by bus or any other vehicle. The Bus Timings for Sunder Nagar to Swahraghat are as given below with their routes-

The total bus fare is Rs.22 (H.R.T.C.) & Rs.20 (Private Buses)
After Reaching Swahraghat, you have to walk upwards on an on-foot path to reach the temple which is about 2 KM in distance from Swahraghat. There are some shops in Swahraghat where you can buy the Cold Drinks, Sweets & Other pooja Saamagri.

Another way to aproach the temple is Sunder Nagar-Murari Devi (via Leda) road which is under construction, hence no bus service is available till now but you can reach by another vehicles such as Motor Bikes, Scooters & Four wheelers.

There is an inn managed by the temple committee and it has capacity of accommodating 80-100 people. The lunch and dinner is also provided in the langars. There is also a canteen where people can have tea or cold drinks. There are mobile towers of every telecom company here except Vodafone & Airtel so that you can enjoy better mobile network here.

The best time to visit this place is from January to June. You must plan to visit this pleasent place once.
