The Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary surrounded by dense pine and spruce trees and is a gem of a tourist destination. The Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the most conveniently located and well connected wildlife sanctuaries in Himachal Pradesh. The Kalatope – Khajjiar Wild Life Sanctuary is located around the Lakkar-Mandi area on Dalhousie – Khajjiar road 08 km away from Dalhousie town in district Chamba. The Kalatope – Khajiar Wild Life Sanctuary is surrounded by dense pine and spruce trees and with a view of the snow capped Pir Panjal forest range.
