The Himalayan Iyengar Yoga Centre was established in 1985 and is located at village Dharamkot near McLeodganj in district Kangra. The Himalayan Iyengar Yoga Centre is run by an expert yoga's spiritual teacher – Anand Sagar (Sharat Arora), who is a great practitioner of Yoga & Meditation and has vast record experience of many different Yoga forms like Hatha Yoga, Ayurveda and Pranic Healing. The yoga is remedy which applies to all levels of existence and awareness. At the physical level, we need to harmonize the functions of different organs, muscles and nerves so that they do not hamper or oppose each other.
The Himalayan Iyengar Yoga Centre, apart from the Yoga Teacher Training course also teaches Intensive Courses in Yoga, Ayurveda & Pranic Healing, Therapy Courses and Yoga retreat classes to retreats participants according to the different requirements. The Mcleodganj, Dharamshala and Bhagsunag are great place for those who are in search of Happiness, Health, Harmony and Mental balance & Peace.
