      New tourism policies for tourists in Shimla

      Himachal Government is trying to implement some new tourism policies which will help Shimla to maintain its natural beauty. This article will let you explore all the latest tourism policies taken by Himachal Government.


      No four wheelers in Shimla


      Himachal Government is now very focused towards maintaining natural beauty of Shimla- Capital city of Himachal Pradesh. So Himachal Government has taken one more step to maintain natural beauty of Shimla. Now no one can use 4 wheelers while their visit to some of the reserved places in Shimla. All the locals and tourists will have to either walk or use bi-cycles to commute in Shimla. This news was announced by Proff. Prem Kumar Dhumal- Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh.

      NGO to maintain natural beauty of Shimla


      Proff. Prem Kumar Dhumal said that Ashadeep which is a popular NGO in Himachal Pradesh will open a bicycle bank which will help tourists to hire bicycle at affordable prices.

      Himachal Government and Shimla


      Himachal Government is always very focused towards the overall growth of Shimla. They had taken many such steps which are helping Shimla to maintain its natural beauty. So we can expect many more such steps also. Himachal goverment will also put various boards and hoarding which will appeal all the visitors of Shimla to switch off the ACs and breathe fresh air of the hills. These boardings will also request all the visitors to have a walk on the historical roads of Shimla. All these announcements were taken in an NGO programme named Walk Shimla Walk. There was one competition held by the same NGO. It was a painting competition with the theme Eco-ride smooth tide. In this competitions nearly 20 schools took part.
