Shimla- the capital city of Himachal Pradesh

The hill's queen Shimla also known as Simla is one the most famous tourist places in India. This is located in Himachal Pradesh at the center of the state. There are many reasons to make this as the capital of the state and one of them is the exclusive scenic beauty with the lofty snow peaks and awesome climate. The troops of tourists come to this place in order to get a relief out of their busy lives. Visiting this place and taking memories along makes you feel like, this is the place where you should have born and that makes you come to this place again and again. The climate is so placid that all the year it never seems that you are under some kind of environment affect.

History of Shimla

The history behind the name Shimla goes as the name of Goddess Shyamla who is considered as the avatar of Goddess Kali. The place was found by the Britishers itself and they at once fell in the beauty of this very place. They made Shimla as their summer capital due to its awesome climate and other reasons. All the places in Shimla have their own significance and it seems like, they were made by very intensive thinking by the God. Although this is a small hill station but all its lofty snow covered Himalayan ranges which remain covered for almost maximum time of the year and tne lakes surrounded by lush green pastures makes the city a great piece of land in itself. Still people over here live in colonies and all the place seems to be a mess type but the factors like perfect geographical location makes this mess a heaven indeed. The place has no comparison with any other part in the whole India. It is not like, that you can only visit Shimla only in winters when the snow falls, now the time has changed. You can come here anytime and enjoy yourself to utmost and find a great time here with your family. Summers here are warm and cool with pleasant charm while winters are chilling and the temperatures fall below zero degree. This is the place where the phrase goes right. A place where dreams come true!
