About Akash Tablet

First this tablet was called Sakshath Tablet but after launching this tablet its name changed to Akash Tablet. It is launched in 5th Oct. by Kapil Sibal. This tablet was prepared by IIT students and Indian government. The price of the tablet is 3000Rs. ($50) and for students and lecturers its cost is 1100Rs. It is manufactured by Datawind in Hyderbad. It is 7inch long and has weight 350gms. It has Android processor 2.2. It comes in market within one-two months.

5. Internal Memory up to 2GB + Expandable Memory 32GB.

The tablet was specially designed for the students and it is used for educational purpose and social networking sites like Facebook or MySpace. It has High Definition video quality. It is like a mini computer in our pocket which has computer capabilities such as open Office, Scilab, Internet Browser with flash plug-in and Java script.
